Keep away from the Zombies with Dalton The Awesome

Run and jump and run and run. There’s been a little bit of an explosion in the "always running" game on Symbian in the last few months, and what I’ve found wonderful is that each game is subtly different and requires a different way of playing. While each of them are simple "one key" games, each of them has their own flavour. "Dalton -  The Awesome!" comes over as a delightful B-movie Zombie film.

Anna rolls out (will roll out) to Symbian handsets by the Autumn

Lost of lively discussion over on AAS about the Symbian Anna software update, mostly around the speed of roll-out: Stephen Elop, Nokia’s CEO, announced that the Symbian Anna software update for the Nokia N8, C7, C6-01 and E7 would start shipping in new devices in July and would be available for all existing device owners to download by the end of August. He also announced that, over the next 12 months, Nokia intends to bring 10 new Symbian based smartphones to the market.

Mix Subutteo with a table top war game, and you get Strategy Soccer

Strategy first, soccer second, That’s how this quirky game from Onslaught Media is titled, and I think they’re on to a Championship winner here,. No, it’s not in the Premier League of mobile games, but there is promise here. That’s likely to come in a future game, because I’m not sure how far Strategy Soccer can be extended. That’s okay though, because I’m enjoying ‘Soccer’, at the same time recognising it’s not going to have massive mainstream appeal.
