Digital Chocolate slightly misses the mark

Diamond Islands 2. Nice, but it’s no Lost. There lies one of the only problems I’ve found in Diamond Islands 2. The game world is made up of lots of small islands (you can’t roll into the water) but in an isometric layout. I’ve yet to find a smartphone that handles isometric action smoothly – they are always a forced into the “up down left right” model. Digital Chocolate have gone with two control options – slide on the screen, and tilting the device.

Link Link 2… nice graphics, shame about the game

With a summery look and feel, Link Link 2 has been released at the perfect time (at least for the northern hemisphere), throwing in the seasonal summery look with some Japanese inspiration gives a good feeling when you start the game. The "how to play" help screen is just as good with animations and a clear explanation of how to link tiles and play the game. Unfortunately, it all goes downhill after that.
