How much does Google earn from your smartphone?

Interesting numbers (via FOSS Patents) in the Oracle/Google patent litigation happening in the US, in relation to how much a smartphone handset is worth to Google’s bottom line, I assume in terms of advertising revenue:

  • $0.58/year from a Symbian handset.
  • $3.35/year from an Android handset.
  • $3.07/year from an iOS device (yes, device… don’t forget the iPod Touch).
