Join me for Live Election Coverage on Leith FM this Thursday night

Yes there may be other options on Election Night (even if they have been neutered), and Channel 4’s promise of alternative coverage is intriguing. But there is another option!

I’ll be hosting Leith FM’s overnight coverage, starting at 10pm. Those of you in Edinburgh can tune in on 98.8 FM, while everyone else in the world can access the stream at www.leithfm.co.uk. We have a team of studio pundits lined up, as well as reporters attending a number of the counts to report back. While we will be looking at the local candidates, there will be lots of time so we’re taking in all the UK and discussing at that level as well as at a Scottish and local level.

Given the number of parties panned by people I know online, I want to do a mix of discussion points alongside some great music to keep everyone’s spirits and energy up. Debating points and requests for Alice Cooper’s Elected can be sent to the studio, @leithfmradio or @ewan, and I hope to have you join me for the results of the (potentially first) General Election of 2010.
