iFringe and The Podcast Network bring BAFTA-nominated Fringe Show to the iPhone App Store

iFringe – the independent guide to the Edinburgh Fringe for the Apple iPhone – and The Edinburgh Fringe Podcast have announced a major collaboration for this year’s Festival.

A unique new venture from six of the Fringe’s leading independent reviewers, iFringe brings together reviews, video and interviews from across the Fringe – all delivered in one convenient, up-to-the-minute package, straight to the iPhone. Making full use of the iPhone’s ground-breaking technology, iFringe highlights nearby shows with good reviews, guides Fringe-goers smoothly through the practicalities, and points out special offers from participating venues.

The BAFTA-nominated Edinburgh Fringe Podcast, hosted and produced by Ewan Spence for The Stage and The Podcast Network, is now in its fifth year of daily coverage from the Fringe. Featuring the latest news from around the capital, interviews with performers and stories from behind the scenes – plus, now, a daily recommendation to be powered by iFringe – the show brings the Fringe to every MP3 player, computer and smartphone on the planet. It’s no wonder it was the #2 arts podcast during last years Fringe, only beaten by The Archers (nobody’s brave enough to take on the army of Ambridge fans!)
