Lib Dem candidate calls “Two Horse Race” tenuous and regards national vote as more important than seats in a hung parliament.

Who plays Lib Dem Two Horse Race bingo? Whenever you get a leaflet from the Liberal Democrats during the current UK General Election campaign, you can be guaranteed two things – a rather interesting bar graph, and the declaration that “It’s a two horse race” and “only the Lib Dems can win here. The first person to spot it when reading a leaflet should shout “Lib Dem Bingo!!!” At least in our house. Next week sees the start of the Leith Festival, which runs from Thursday 4th June to Sunday 14th June. As part of the local community effort, I will be returning to the airwaves on our local radio station Leith FM, to host a late evening chat show. The team did try to think up some great names (especially as the show is likely to go on after the Festival finishes and become a flagship Arts and Culture show on the station), but the best we can come up with is Leith Tonight.
