Who plays Lib Dem Two Horse Race bingo? Whenever you get a leaflet from the Liberal Democrats during the current UK General Election campaign, you can be guaranteed two things – a rather interesting bar graph, and the declaration that “It’s a two horse race” and “only the Lib Dems can win here. The first person to spot it when reading a leaflet should shout “Lib Dem Bingo!!!” At least in our house. Next week sees the start of the Leith Festival, which runs from Thursday 4th June to Sunday 14th June. As part of the local community effort, I will be returning to the airwaves on our local radio station Leith FM, to host a late evening chat show. The team did try to think up some great names (especially as the show is likely to go on after the Festival finishes and become a flagship Arts and Culture show on the station), but the best we can come up with is Leith Tonight. Update 2: Off air, I’ll do a little report when I get home. Short summary is it went pretty well. Update: On air now – tune into the stream, and pop me a skype! Yes it’s the weekly heads up to you all – those of you in Edinburgh can tune in to 98.8FM for the Wednesday Lunchtime Show on Leith FM, which I’ll be hosting.
