One of the fun moments at the recent BlogWorld Expo in LA was sitting down with CC Chapman, Joe Pulizzi and Mark Yoshimoto Nemcoff to talk about, well. Mark Yoshimoto Nemcoff from his Blog World wrap-up: I did see a bunch of friends and folks I’ve known since those olden podcasting days and the common joke we all shared was about being survivors. Every single one of us has parlayed our early indie experiences into career and brand-growing opportunities. All of us have expanded what we were originally doing and continue to thrive in new media… and all those annoying whiners and posers from the days of yore… there wasn’t a single one in sight. And there, in a nutshell, is the evolution of podcasting.

An absolutely lovely weekend at Over the Air has just finished (with some nifty train timetable work, I was back home in Edinburgh before 1am), and as usual, I can’t wait until the next one, even though the wait makes them so special. Any modern re-telling of World War 2 has to include the exploits of Bletchley Park. It’s also home to the National Museum of Computing and is one of the heritage sites of modern computing. And this weekend, the annual “Over the Air” mobile developers conference will be at Bletchley Park!
