What will the killer app for 4G be?
What will people do with 4G? Most people expect “The same, but faster”. Can we find new services, or are we stuck with better speed, lower latency? That’s not a bad thing to be stuck with, but I wonder what the “killer app” will be that makes people want a 4G phone in their pocket… We all thought that 3G’s killer app would be video calling.
Clue’s in the question, Terence. 4G’s killer app will be video calling!
Ha! I wish!
It’s a nice idea but the problem is the 4G charges. Those are going to put people off doing video calling. Wifi’s going to be the ongoing winner for most of that methinks.
