Holly Walsh started her stand-up career in 2006. Building on appearance alongside Frank Skinner on TV’s Frank Skinner’s Skateboarding Dog, she was the runner up at the Amused Moose LaughOff 2006 at the Edinburgh Fringe (hosting it in 2009), won the Best Newcomer 2008 at the Chortle Awards, wrote for The Late Edition and Out to Lunch, appeared as a guest on The Now Show, was the continuity announcer on CBBC, been a panellist on 8 out of 10 Cats, Mock the Week, and Never Mind the Buzzcocks.

Today, after over five years in the business, Holly Walsh is nominated for “The Best Newcomer” [Perrier] award at the Edinburgh Comedy awards.
