Blogging on the beauty of the long odds at the Fringe

Anyone following the UK Blogging scene will have spotted the recent launch of two major blog properties, The Huffington Post UK, and Iain Dale’s Dale & Company site. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be doing some opinion columns on the latter around the Fringe – and the first one is now posted:

The Edinburgh Fringe is under way, with over 2500 shows from some 41,000 performers all crammed into the rain lashed Scottish capital. From now until the end of August they’ll take to the stage every night, hoping that in those huge numbers, they’ll find enough of an audience to make it worthwhile. While the odds might be long, dreams and careers can be born and thrive in Edinburgh.

More on Dale & Co, and keep an eye out next week for another one.
