Trying to raise a flag against illegal music downloads
PRS in the UK want a "Traffic Lights" system of coloured flags in search engines to tell people when "…they are downloading content illegally".
Really?
Okay so how are you going to convince Bing to make this work. And Google. And IceRocket. And Yahoo. What about Reddit? It’s a very nice press release, but seem totally impractical. And what would "orange" mean? That it’s legal but as the artist is John Barrowman track you shouldn’t really bother?

Orange means that you’re downloading something in the public domain. Purple means that you’re downloading something which might be copyrighted elsewhere.
