Google consolidates product names in consistent boring branding exercise

Mashable’s Ben Parr reports that Picasa will become Google Photos and Blogger will become Google Blogs over the summer. Makes perfect business sense, but this, coupled with Google Plus, feels like the Mountain view company growing up and becoming even more corporate and "me-too" than at any time in its past.
