Martian Death Ray Over Edinburgh
I had intended to take a picture of today’s sun in Edinburgh, with a view of the castle and the Royal Mile in frame (as well as Waverly Station) but thanks to catch the light in a poor camera phone lens, it looks like a green death ray from a Martian War machine is razing Scotland’s capital.

I’m guessing the Nokia N95 8GB, shooting into sunlight, with the flare coming from a slight scratch on the cover glass?
Almost. Ewan with an iphone, and shielding the top of the phone both sides) to try and make out what was on the screen.
