While I’m In America, You Should Consider…

Two events that I would normally consider going to, except I’m going to be in America at the time, are Cloud Camp and O’Reilly’s Maker Faire

CloudCamp Scotland takes place in Appleton Tower (the concourse) on Wed March 25th from 1815 to 2200. Eventbrite is handling the free ticket registration and with Phil Huber and Christine Gupta behind this Scottish [gnu]Camp it should go down a storm. And like any good techy conference, they are supplying beer and pizza (not some tiny finger food and wine like others I could mention.)

Next up, is the first O’Reilly Maker Faire to take part in the UK. Being held in Newcastle on the 14th and 15th it’s going to be a fantastic mix of building, presenting, demonstrations and hardware japes. Should be a great weekend.

As for my plans, I’ll post everything up here next week, just before I leave at 6am on Tuesday
