Flickring The Past This Weekend
A strange weekend. I’ve sat down and done something I’ve been meaning to do for some time, and that’s plough through a Tea Crate full of 3.5″ floppy discs. These discs hold pretty much all the digital photographs I took with my Sony Mavica VGA camera since early 1999 through to about 2002. Very few of the discs had read/write faults, and I’ve dumped pretty much everything up to Flickr with some rough tagging (on a per disc basis).
So if you’re in my “Friends and Family” marked section of Flickr, then you’ve got a delightful (ahem) stream of around 500 pictures to walk through just now, and you can expect another 500 or so next weekend when I do the other box.
I’ve marked the majority of them private mainy because of the age of the pictures. There’s a lot of “Oh My God!” shots in there, but as I was going through the crate I made sure that I was uploading almost everything. I’ve marked some of them public, and how could I not treat/terrorise you with this leather and kilt shot of me from, I think, an event I was organising in Fresher’s Week 1999.

Cool. I have been trying to move all my photos but really haven’t done anything for a while. I tried to do it through ACDSee as I thought one place to update the Keywords and what nice would be good but it just got very difficult. Waiting for someone to come up with an ACDsee/Flickr plugin for ACDsee.
Best of luck.
