At the time I posted my thoughts on the decision, as did Mark. His reason at the time for leaving?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8230;I wasn\u2019t happy with the direction the company was moving in, was unable to open a dialogue with them about my concerns, the vibe that was created when I joined last June wasn\u2019t sustained (sadly), and while there are some great, passionate, visionary-types working for the company it would seem that they aren\u2019t the driving force.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I&#8217;m delighted to blog that <a href=\"http:\/\/tartan.pnohosting.ca\/?p=49\">Mark has launched a new show<\/a> &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/mellowmonday.thepodcastnetwork.com\/\">The Mellow Monday Show<\/a> &#8211; and it is part of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thepodcastnetwork.com\/\">The Podcast Network<\/a> (insert an obvious disclaimer here, for those of you who don&#8217;t realise that I am part of TPN). The show is going to be very similar to his sorely missed Sleepy Sunday Show, which was part of the Tartan Podcast, and he&#8217;ll continue to produce both the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tartanpodcast.com\/\">Tartan Podcast<\/a> (and other podcasts under the Tartan Media label), but I think that launching a new show, but maintaining the old brand and visibility, will serve everyone well.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/mellowmonday.thepodcastnetwork.com\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/media.libsyn.com\/media\/tartanpodcast\/mms.jpg\" alt=\"Mellow Monday Show\" vspace=\"5\" hspace=\"5\" border=\"1\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Of course, the next Podcast Conference is going to see <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ewanspence.co.uk\/blog\/2005\/11\/15\/tpn-rock-tartan-podcast\/\">even more confusion between Mark and myself<\/a> even before <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cc-chapman.com\/\">C. C. Chapman<\/a> starts playing silly buggers as he tries to confuse the issue!
