Gotta love Apple’s timing. Without saying\u00a0anything\u00a0official, hints of a press\u00a0announcement\u00a0in October swamped the tech headlines and pretty much covered up the announcement of Windows Phone’s major update<\/a>, Mango, coming out in the next two weeks, and AT&T’s confirmation of the Samsung Galaxy S2<\/a> coming to their network.<\/p>\n

The cynic in me is expecting another “hint” next week as Amazon have their press meeting (presumably we’ll be seeing their 7″ Android tablet<\/a>); a swamping of the airwaves when Mango hits existing handsets; and whatever new bit of iTech is announced will be in the stores just as Nokia and Microsoft debut<\/a> their collaborative handset.<\/p>\n
