I\u2019m sure that digital archaeologists in years to come will come to the conclusion that Drew is Patient Zero and that he was the cause of the world\u2019s cancer<\/em><\/strong>, but until then he\u2019s doing his best to raise the profile of \u201cpositive mental attitude<\/a>\u201d and raise a bucket load of money.<\/p>\n

The latest scheme is to auction his twitter name @Drew<\/a>. Four letter names are pretty much gone on Twitter, and his thinking that there are enough Drews out there in celebrity world that he could get a lot of money for the screen name \u2013 which would go to the charity Livestrong Foundation<\/a>.<\/p>\n

So Drew checked with Twitter, set a minimum of $10,000 on the name, and started the auction.<\/p>\n

Hats off to Drew Carey, who\u2019s thrown up a first bid of $25,000<\/a>, and has promised to up that to $100,000<\/a><\/strong> if his current account @drewfromTV<\/a> breaks 100,000 followers by November 9th, which is when the bidding closes.<\/p>\n
