I think the only thing that could make this more interesting is the tools to make it fully independent of third party services, and that would be to hook it up to a <a href=\"http:\/\/laconi.ca\/trac\/\" target=\"_blank\">Laconica<\/a> based server (update, I see that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scripting.com\/stories\/2009\/01\/07\/friendsOfDave.html\" target=\"_blank\">Winer has this up and running now as well<\/a>\u2026 perfect).<\/p>\n<p>As technology becomes more and more like magic, it\u2019s important that we all remain as close to Level 60 technomages as possible.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dave Winer\u2019s posts on using his experiment with Twitter as the basis of a \u2018personal Friend Feed\u2019 is an intriguing concept.
