Congratulations to Charlie Lyne, who’s latest documentary ‘Paint Drying‘ has cleared the BBFC censors in the UK. Financed on Kickstarter the ten hour feature film explores the condition of a wall after it has been painted and a slow decent to a hellishly dry state. Paint Drying is the result of aKickstarter campaign aimed at highlighting the “prohibitively expensive” cost of presenting cinematic works for classification. The BBFC charges a £101.50 submission fee and £7.09 per minute of film.
