Google needs to show the rainbow to more than the friends of Dorothy

To mark June as Gay and Lesbian Pride month, the search giant is adding a rainbow to the right side of the search bar when users search for "gay," "lesbian," "transgender," or related terms… While the company normally avoids taking a public stand on social issues, the company has taken a high-profile stance in support of gay rights. Yes it’s wonderful and gives you a "west coast" vibe but surely you want to present the rainbow and what it means to people who need to hear the message, not just those inside the congregation?
