Here’s the summary – Le Web 2009 was like a diamond, a few flaws but on the whole brilliant and sparkling and deserving of its place in the Conference Crown Jewels of tech land. My annual report from Le Web is now posted on BBC News, in the Technology section. The venue may be a former morgue, but Le Web, one of the largest conferences looking at net-based businesses and technologies, proves the web is very much alive and kicking. Le Web 2009 Dates Announced

There’s a certain amount of irony that as I look out of the window this morning in Edinburgh and seeing the snow falling and the temperatures that Geraldine has announced the dates of Le Web 2009 (December 9th and 10th). I seem to remember that the last place I saw snow and felt temperatures this cold was inside Le 104, the venue for the Le Web that has just past. Still, she does promise a higher temperature this year (yaay) and it’s good to see that Loic still thinks that Le Web is his. Behind every successful Frenchman…
