…and the third most searched term in Google for 2013 was… Google. That’s probably strong enough to write an episode of ‘The I.T. Crowd’ around, yes?

The slash that locked up Google’s search results
Not as dramatic as "broke the Internet" (you can only do that if you type "Google" into Google), but a look at how imperfect humans, yes even Marissa Mayer, can break complex systems with a single key. It puts me in mind of the Mars Cliamte Orbiter, which failed to orbit the red planet as the coders mixed up metric with imperial measurements.
