A big thank you to The Lab at O2 for all their help in the last few weeks as they developed ESC Commentary, an IOS app to support the Eurovision Song Contest communities at ESC Insight and EscXtra. What does it do? You’ll get a live commentary from the team in the press room (and it’s not the same as our long running Alternative Commentary MP3, which you can find here). Terry Vision makes it into ‘Time Out’ magazine

Eurovision season is hotting up, and ESC Insight’s senior interviewer Terry Vision is in demand! Here’s Time Out on his appearance at the London Preview Party: It wasn’t all music on the bill, incidentally. There was a brief sketch interlude which included Nicki French having a chat with a puppet version of Terry Wogan (called Terry Vision for legal reasons). Pictures as well!

John Barrowman is upset…

As John Barrowman makes sure the world knows that nobody asked him to be in the 50th Anniversary episode of Doctor Who and he’s upset about that, it’s worth remembering that Mr Saturday Night’s emphatic “Now that’s Eurovision!” towards Scooch ensured they were voted as the UK representatives in 2007 instead of Cyndi. We’re still upset over that one as well.
