Covering the Eurovision Song Contest this year is proving fun, if not a teensy bit more tiring than an event like SXSW Interactive (to put it into some perspective for many of you). One of the features of the Eurovision Song Contest is they play music in the background. Just Eurovision music. And specifically just the music from this year’s contest. Now the first semi final is over, the eight songs that have failed to qualify have left the building. And I’m wondering if their music will be airbrushed out of the Moscow Olympic Stadium’s jukebox, never to be heard again….

Pah, So I’m happily tweeting away the first Eurovision Semi Final (@ewanspence) through Tweetdeck, and all seems well. Hold on though, the last 20 minutes of the coverage aren’t showing up. In the excitement I don’t spot this in time. Turns out I have hit some mythical “you’re twittering a lot, can you wait a bit?” limit. Er no, this is one of the biggest live events of the year in Europe. Anyone got contacts who they could ask that would lift my limit until May 17th?
