Same Game Launched

Well it’s late Monday night, but Same Game has now been released. It’s my first shareware app, so I’m intruiged as to how popular it will be. I’ll discuss it a bit more later on. For now… bed.

SameGame Cleared To Land

Mind you, there’s nothing wrong with a maddening puzzle game… I’m on a train from Edinburgh back to London on Sunday, and as I pull out of Waverley I though to myself I want to play SameGame on my 7650. Now there are a tonne of versions of SameGame (including TileFall on the Psion Series 3 and 5’s), and a few Java Midlet versions are kicking around. But they were all missing something. So out comes the 9210 and the OPL Program editor and I start coding.

Letting Go Of Code

There comes a time when I have to stop coding improvements into applications and publish them so everyone can tell me what’s wrong with them. I think it’s getting very close to that point with Cera. Cera is an Outliner program. It can be used as a simple notepad, but it allows you to create notes that are offshoots of other notes. So you could have “Shopping,” two sub-notes with “Asda” and “Boots,” and then sub-notes coming off these for what you need to buy. That’s only one use. I’ve found similar apps to be incredibly useful on my Psion

Can’t Google for WAP on Movable Type

Well, the new WAP template has been greeted by everyone I’ve shown with a “Wow! How can I do that!” So I’m looking around the net from some hints on improving the WAP side (namely posting comments and forms), and pretty much every WAP on MT (Moveable Type) post is pointing back to my tutorial at Symbian Diaries. Which is great for everyone else, but does nothing to help the guy who wrote the tutorial.
